The Jackson Farm HOA Board of Directors wants to keep our Community informed. Please review the below notice from the City of Centennial.
The City of Centennial is hosting an open house tomorrow evening December 8 about residential beekeeping. The City is currently studying residential beekeeping to determine whether to adopt reasonable regulations that continue to allow residential beekeeping but balance the interests of beekeepers and other residents. Currently residential beekeeping is allowed in the City with little to no regulation.
Tomorrow’s open house is at the Eagle Street Facility Community Room located at 7272 S. Eagle Street from 6-7 p.m. Beth Conrey, President of the Colorado State Beekeepers Association, will be in attendance to answer questions about beekeeping. The City has been in communication with the High Land Beekeeping Club and a Centennial based beekeeper. Also, Centennial has reviewed beekeeping regulations in communities adjacent to the City, including Littleton and Aurora.
Council Members and City Staff will be in attendance to hear what residents say about this topic and answer any questions.
