Hello District 4 Residents,

Now that the snow has melted.... 
Spring is in full swing and Centennial is all geared up for a full summer of fabulous activities!
 
Please mark your calendar and plan on joining us at Smoky Hill Library, May 5 at 6:30 p.m. for a District 4 meeting. Smoky Hill Library is located at 5430 S. Biscay Cir. We look forward to filling you in on many of the exciting events taking place this summer within our community.

Summer Events at Centennial Center Park
Summer is shaping up to be another eventful season! The City's award-winning events are back! Check out this summer's event lineup which includes live music, movies, a laser light show, food trucks and much more! 

The Summer Kickoff Event is Saturday, June 4 starting at 6 p.m. at Centennial Center Park.  There will be food and beverages available for purchase, a visit from the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office K-9 Unit and a performance by the U.S. Air Force Falconaires.
City Council Adopts Fiber Master Plan
The Centennial City Council is showing their commitment to enhancing fiber opportunities by dedicating $5.7 million to implement its Fiber Master Plan throughout the City. This master plan was developed by Magellan Advisors in consultation with the Fiber Steering Committee, consisting of Mayor Pro Tem Charles "C.J." Whelan, Council Member Ken Lucas and Council Member Stephanie Piko.
 
The Master Plan is a result of an extensive public outreach process, including discussions with stakeholder organizations, local businesses, telecommunication providers, and City Council.   Read the entire press release. 
Summer Construction 
There will be numerous road construction projects moving forward in 2016, including work along Arapahoe Road between Waco Street and Himalaya Way. Visit

Planning the City's future
Centennial will soon begin the development of a new Comprehensive Master Plan and we look forward to hearing from our citizens on how they see Centennial in the next 5, 10, 15 years.  Centennial will also be updating is Parks, Open Space and Trails Master Plan and will be offering many opportunities for community input.
